The search engine giant Google
has unveiled a unique pair of talking
shoes with Adidas to add one
more feather to its existing crown. The internet giant has already been
developing Google Glasses, which is
already creating quite a buzz in the technology
world. It seems like that the Google Glasses is not the only ultra modern
product that Google will offer in near future.
The tech giant has done this experiment with a pair of
shoes to spotlight its very new advertising platform that will be called as
Art, Copy and Code. So it is easily understandable that Google does not have
any sorts of plan to enter into the footwear business with the idea of “Talking Shoe”.
Google eventually took a
few pairs of popular sneakers of the famous footwear brand Adidas. After that
the internet firm crammed the shoes in a small technology-sound computer, a
gyroscope, speaker and Bluetooth and a pressure detector.
There are a few
mind-blowing features which this talking shoe possesses. The features are quite
amazing and unique too, so that it creates so much sensation and buzz around
it. Suppose you are wearing the shoe then it will be able to predict what you
are doing or what you are not. That’s not all for sure, as this talking shoe
can also relay that information to your own mobile phone via Bluetooth
connection. It can also relay it to you also via a speaker that Google has
already installed in the top portion of the shoe.
The chief official of the
advertising arts team of Google Mr. Aman Govil was there at the time of the
product launch to answer a few questions about this new venture of the tech
firm. He told the news reporters that
the said ‘Talking Shoe’ is an
experiment in how a person can easily use connected objects to tell stories on
the web.
Govil also explained a few
features of it. He added that if a person manages to put what the shoe is
already aware of with the help of an algorithmic logic engine, then it has the all
sort of abilities to translate it into copy. This type of feature is very much
new in the gadget market, and as
usual Google is leading the world to a new direction all together on a step by
step way.
The best part is if someone
gives that copy to an energetic, confident and interesting copy writer, then it
is highly possible that he/she could provide the shoe personality itself that
will lead the shoe to be the trash-talking shoe, Mr. Govil added in his
explanation.
