Recently Jorhat-based Kaziranga University has made a tie up with one of
the best in the world Cardiff Metropolitan University of United Kingdom. This
tie up has loads of advantages, as it will allow the two institutions to go for
joint research and student and faculty mutual exchange programme.
Recently an administration team from CMU visited the campus of Kaziranga
University. That team was led by the Head of Collaborative Provision of CMU Mr.
Lloyd Powell. The agreement of the tie up was signed during this visit. This
mutual alliance between CMU, UK, KU, and Assam spans a huge range of academic
fields, which includes the research facilities, teaching qualities. Eventually
it will boost up the provisions for student and faculty exchange programme.
With the help of this memorandum of understanding (MoU), Kaziranga
University will be able to offer globally recognized yet locally affordable
academic programs to the Youth of North East India. It will attract the youth
zone to go for higher studies and make a mark for them on a larger scale.
The delegation team, which has been led by Powell, looked through the various
facilities in the Kaziranga Campus. The team even toured the 50-acre land of
the campus of the University. They’ll develop it by making full use of it.
This is not the very first time when Kaziranga University made tie ups
with International Institutions. Earlier the University had forged agreements
with some other leading global institutions like University of Plymouth and
Jiangsu University of China.
