Tech Giant Intel Unveils Latest Software Platform for Crunching Massive Data

Intel has unveiled a latest brand new software for perform number-crunching on massive scale.
The technology giant Intel has unveiled a latest brand new software platform, which will help to perform number-crunching very easily on massive scale. This is the brand new offering of the company in a field that is growing heavily day by day. Intel is hoping that it will enlarge the sales of its powerful server chips in a huge manner.

California based chip maker the Santa Clara is one of such technology companies, which are growing in a very decent manner. It mainly wants to help various leading organizations to find desired value in Big Data, i.e. a thorough analysis of huge piles of information that can be easily culled from various social media sites, financial records, web searches, social bookmarking sites and other pillars of digital figures and facts.

Eventually the giant of technology field Intel has unveiled its 3rd fully customized version of Hadoop, which is basically the vastly popular open source software across the globe. Hadoop mainly aggregates results from large numbers of data. It is heavily used in Big Data analysis that is the reason it’s very much popular in the IT market.

Now Intel upgraded Hadoop by optimizing (customizing as well) it to work a lot better with solid-state drives. There are a few other improvements too, which are made by Intel in the third version of Hadoop.

On this Tuesday only the Vice President of Intel’s architecture group and general manager of the datacenter software division Mr. Boyd Davis informed all this at a news event that was organized by the company itself.

Intel basically wants to boost up the sales of its high-end Xeon server processors, which it launched a few months back. The company is hoping that the recent development and upgradation on the software will eventually encourage most of the companies to leap into Big Data analysis, and if that happen, the sales of its Xeon server processors would automatically boost up in a huge way.

"One of our biggest motivators is to drive faster growth of the data center itself," Mr. Davis added.

Intel is planning to give its new version of Hadoop away via service providers and trusted vendors. That’s not all for sure, as the company will also sell its own technical support services along with it. All the tech companies are coming up with their new offering these days, as BlackBerry launched its brand new BlackBerry Z10 globally and Huawei also unveils World’s fastest smartphone in past few days.

Intel is a huge name in the global economy, and so the company is very much keen to hold that reputation with this latest offerings towards the IT and economic world.

It has to be mentioned here that Intel signed a pact with Kerala’s Kudumbashree of India just a few days ago.
