LOWEST TEMPERATURE RECORDED AT DELHI IN 30 YEARS




            The residents of the Capital of India, New Delhi, woke up to a chilly morning with the minimum temperature dropping to 4 degrees Celsius, five notches below average, on Thursday. The Met office has forecast a clear and sunny day ahead. "The skies will be mainly clear and sunny during the day. It is expected to be chilly towards the evening," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.

              "The maximum temperature will hover around 19 degrees," the official added to his statement. Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 60 percent, which is pretty low indeed. Wednesday's minimum temperature was recorded at 8.5 degrees while the maximum was three notches below average at 19.3 degrees.
