Latest Current Indian Government Approvals Affairs
Government approved Drug Pricing Policy to
lower Medicine Cost
The
Union Government recently has approved the most awaited National Pharmaceutical
Pricing Policy. This approval has importance of its own as it will help the
government to bring 348 essential drugs under price control, which has became
necessary considering the present scenario. This will eventually leads to
reduction in prices of various medicines.
The
Union Cabinet has a noble objective to put in place a regulatory framework for
pricing of drugs. The Government wants to ensure their (the listed drugs)
availability at reasonable prices, which is the present need of the country for
sure. That is the one of the main reason for the National Pharmaceutical
Pricing Policy approval by the UPA Government.
1500 Industrial Training Institutes through PPP mode is likely to set up in Five Years
It has already proven that Industrial growth is a necessary thing for
the overall growth of any country. The Union Government has finally understood
the importance of Industrial growth and to be precise the need of Industrial
Training. As a good result of that Centre has decided that it will establish
around 1,500 Industrial Training Institutes and 5,000 Skill Development Centres
in the next five years.
The
better part is all these centres will be set up through the popular
Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) mode. The PPP mode allows the private sectors
to invest their capital along with the public sectors. The advantage of PPP
mode is that both the parties are able to share the profits or losses (if any)
together. So the risk factors of being bankrupt are much lower in this mode.
