Government has sanctioned 14 mega tourism projects for Jammu and Kashmir



                
                  The Central Government of India has recently sanctioned 14 mega tourism projects, which is valued at Rs 73.50 Crore approximately. These mega projects are for the heaven of the earth Jammu and Kashmir. It has been sanctioned by the centre during the last three months only with the main target of creating tourist-centered infrastructure and conserving heritage sites in the state. This is pretty good news for all the lovers of beautiful J & K.

                 The project has started already, and the projects are running quite nicely. In fact nine projects, which worth around Rs 38.35 crore, are being currently executed in the Kashmir Valley. Along with that four projects have already been sanctioned for funding for Jammu Division by the Centre itself. Another mega heritage conservation project of Rs 16.92 crore has been approved for conservation of Mubarak Mandi heritage palace. It is also under the same projects.

                  We have to mention here that Rs 13.78 crore would also be spent on development of tourist infrastructure at Mansar, Sanasar at Netha top, besides the development of Darhal as the Base Camp and Shikhar marg as the gate way of tourist destination for Pir Panjal.

                  That’s not all. The central government has also approved another project of Rs 4.45 crore, which is for the development of tourist infrastructure in the Kargil.
